Thermory’s new thermo-complex begins operations

Thermory, a leading manufacturer of thermally modified wood, has officially opened its new thermo-complex at its Loo production facility in Estonia. This €7.5 million investment will significantly increase the company’s production capacity to meet the growing global demand for its sustainable and durable wood products.

The new complex features a 3,000 square meter thermal treatment facility equipped with state-of-the-art kilns from Finnish manufacturer Jartek. These kilns use a special heat treatment process to modify the wood without the use of chemicals, making it more resistant to rot, decay, and moisture damage.

Thermory’s CEO, Simmo Soomets, said that the new complex is a “game-changer” for the company. “We have seen a significant increase in demand for our thermo-wood products in recent years, and this new facility will allow us to meet that demand and continue to grow our business,” he said.

The complex also includes a modern solar park on the roof, which will help to reduce the company’s environmental footprint. Thermory is committed to sustainable practices and sources its wood from responsibly managed forests.

The opening of the new thermo-complex is a major milestone for Thermory and is sure to position the company as a leader in the thermo-wood market. With its increased production capacity and commitment to sustainability, Thermory is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for its eco-friendly and durable wood products.

Here are some of the key benefits of Thermory’s thermo-wood products:

  • Durability: Thermo-wood is more resistant to rot, decay, and moisture damage than untreated wood, making it ideal for outdoor applications such as decking, siding, and fencing.

  • Stability: Thermo-wood is less prone to warping and cracking than untreated wood, making it a good choice for use in high-moisture environments.

  • Low maintenance: Thermo-wood requires minimal maintenance, unlike untreated wood which needs to be stained or painted to protect it from the elements.

  • Sustainability: Thermo-wood is made from sustainably sourced wood and is a renewable resource.

If you are looking for a durable, sustainable, and low-maintenance wood product for your next project, Thermory’s thermo-wood is a great option. With the opening of its new thermo-complex, Thermory is now able to offer its products to a wider range of customers around the world.
